Tiger Woods removed injured from car after collision in Los Angeles

Woods, 45, was in California for a two-day shoot with Golf Digest / GOLFTV after hosting the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational this weekend.

The car Woods was driving appeared to be a Genesis Invitational courtesy vehicle.

Woods had given lessons to a number of celebrities. However, he did not gamble himself as he is recovering from back surgery.

Surgery to relieve a fragment of a pressurized disc that pinched a nerve was his fifth on his back since his spinal fusion in April 2017.

“The driver and sole occupant was identified as PGA golfer Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods. Mr. Woods was cleared with the ‘jaws of life’ by Los Angeles firefighters and paramedics and then transported to the hospital by ambulance for his injuries, ‘the sheriff’s office tweeted Tuesday.

Woods was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs in 2017 when it was discovered that he had two types of pain relievers and two sleeping pills in his system.
