British actress Tilda Swinton dons an eclectic ensemble as she steps out in Sydney’s Bronte … after arriving in Australia to film George Miller’s Three Thousand Years of Longing

She recently left her UK home in Australia to film George Miller’s upcoming film, Three Thousand Years of Longing.

And on Saturday, the always eclectic Tilda Swinton was spotted hanging out in the stylish eastern suburb of Bronte, Sydney, where she was shopping in an incredibly unique ensemble.

The age-defying 60-year-old donned an eye-catching striped shirtdress for the occasion, which looked like a comfy dressing gown that tied at the waist.

She paired her look with a pair of lilac jeans, and accessorized with oversized sunglasses and a patterned scarf.

She also donned a ‘Rose Apothecary’ tote bag, a nod to TBEN’s hilarious comedy Schitt’s Creek and the store logo owned by David Rose’s character.

Tilda’s new film, Three Thousand Years of Longing, is a fantasy film currently being filmed in the northern Sydney suburbs, and also stars Idris Elba.

According to IMDb, the film is about a “lonely and bitter British woman” who meets a genius on a trip to Istanbul.

She receives three wishes, which forces her to realize that she has “a desire to be loved”.

The film is written and directed by Mad Max director George Miller and has a budget of around US $ 60 million.

In an interview with British Vogue last month, the Doctor Strange actress admitted that she never wanted to be a movie star.

“I never had any ambition as an artist. It may sound crazy and transgressive, but it is a fact, ” she told the post.

“ If you had asked me when I was 10 or 20, I would have said my only ambitions were to live with a family, to have friends who made me laugh and made fun of my jokes, and to live in the Highlands of Scotland, by the sea with lots of dogs and a vegetable garden. Seriously.

“And I was really blessed to be able to reach them. Everything else is a bonus. Everything else is just frosting and candles and flowers next to it.
