Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), welcomed the emergence of the Olu of Warri-designate, Prince Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko.
Emiko was unveiled as Warri’s 21st Olu-Chosen One, following news of the death of Olu Ogiame Ikenwoli.
The 37-year-old has a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science and a Masters in Management.
Tinubu said that Emiko’s choice “testifies to the fact that he is ordained to ascend the throne of his ancestors.”
He congratulated the Omoba and the Itsekiri nation and prayed that Emiko’s reign ushered in rapid development and prosperity for the Warri kingdom.
“I send my best wishes for their continued good health, renewed energy, joy, happiness, prosperity and for the well-being and well-being of the Itsekiri people.”
Tinubu also expressed his condolences to the people of Itsekiri for the passing of Ikenwoli, the 20th kingdom of Olu of Warri.
The former governor of Lagos said that Ikenwoli was a remarkable king who worked hard to bring peace and unity.
“My deepest condolences to his Olori, to the members of the ruling House of Ginuwa and to the entire Itsekiri nation,” he noted.
