The Embarrassing Moment Today host Karl Stefanovic bursts into laughter as Gold Coast couple are forced to clarify that their children are still alive after a tongue slip

Today’s show host Karl Stefanovic was left in stitches as he interviewed a Gold Coast couple about their dream home on Thursday.

During the segment, Dennis and Sharon Clark showed off their Queensland mansion, which recently went on sale.

“Why the hell would you put this dream house up for auction?” Karl asked.

Dennis explained: ‘Well Karl we bought this place about 10 years ago and every year we do renovations and we started with five kids at the house but now we only have one only child. ”

“They are all still alive. They just left the house, ” Sharon clarified as Karl burst out laughing.

The couple then continued to give Today a tour of their gorgeous home, as co-host Leila McKinnon asked, “ What’s the thing that you will miss the most? ”

“Probably the bedroom I imagine is my favorite place. I don’t know if Sharon would be okay with that, Dennis replied as Karl continued to laugh uncontrollably.

“The Goldy. This is great stuff on the Gold Coast, ”he said.

The luxury property in Helensvale, just off the Gold Coast canals, was listed for $ 3.3 million.

It has 14 holes of golf, a swim-up bar and a five-space underground garage filled with luxury cars.

The open plan design also includes hanging chandeliers in virtually every room, including the bathroom.

The incredible property has several Bali huts, a billiard room, a veranda and a freestanding wing.

Unbelievable: Dennis and Sharon have lived in their Queensland home for 10 years, which features 14 holes of golf and a swim-up bar
