MCKINNEY, Texas (TBEN) – When TPC developer Craig Ranch, David Craig, and course designer and former PGA star, Tom Weiskopf, put their dreams on paper, they had no doubts their dream would come true. And, finally, it is.
The course, which opened in September 2004, has just wrapped up an incredible week in which AT&T Byron Nelson is hosted for the very first time. And now the focus is on the final hurdle Weiskopf faces.

Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer the day after Thanksgiving, his friendship with Craig once again came in handy.
Craig called the Dallas Salesmanship Club.

The guy in the red pants, long known for his charitable acts, stepped into action. The next morning, doctors at MD Anderson waited for a call from Weiskopf and his wife Laurie.
With Tom ready for surgery on June 14, everyone is pushing him to win this battle. And no one more than David Craig.
