UAE assesses return to service of Boeing 737 Max


Abu Dhabi: The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has established a Boeing 737 Max Return-to-Service Committee which includes specialists in the required areas, who work with their counterparts in the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Union. Security Agency (EASA).

In a Sunday statement, the GCAA said: “We will continue to work closely with the FAA and EASA on the recertification process. The GCAA will issue a safety decision outlining the technical requirements to ensure a safe return to service. of the MAX aircraft and we will also announce our certification deadlines in due course. “
