DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates has recorded 3,362 new COVID-19 infections after performing 134,768 additional tests in the past 24 hours, the official WAM news agency reported.
The health ministry said the total number of cases recorded since the start of the pandemic has reached 239,587 infections.
He added that six people have died from viral complications, bringing the death rate to 723.
The country has also recorded the recovery of 2,588 patients, bringing the total number of those recovered from the virus to 213,149.
