Upcoming polls will determine the fate of Gujarat for the next 25 years, Congress did not follow Gandhian values: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at a public rally in Dehgam on Thursday that these elections will determine the fate of Gujarat for the next 25 years.

On the second day of his two-day campaign in Gujarat, Prime Minister Modi said: “India has completed 75 years of independence and our country is entering the Amrit Kaal, which will be the next 25 years. This (2022) is the first election of this Amrit Kaal, which will determine not only the fate of the state for the next five years, but also what Gujarat will look like after 25 years.”

Prime Minister Modi said we have to work in such a way that Gujarat is at the forefront
in the standards of rich countries of the world.

Prime Minister Modi said, “Earlier there was a time when there was corruption, casteism, nepotism, road-electricity-water-health problems in elections, but because of the overall development Gujarat has achieved in the last 20 years, Gujarat has come out of such crises. 20 to 25 years ago works for the development of basic services
Gujarat was done but today the state is known as a leading state in the country.

PM Modi praised Gujarat’s development and said, “Today, electricity is available in Gujarat 24 hours a day. The work of Sardar Sarovar Dam, Sujalam Suflam Yojana, Amrit Sarovar is done.

“The education budget in Gujarat, which was Rs 1,500 crore, has been increased to Rs 33,000 crore today,” he said.

“It is difficult to differentiate between towns and villages in Gandhinagar district,” he added.

Prime Minister Modi, the chief minister of Gujarat, said, “The day is not far off when Gandhinagar and Dehgam will be twin cities, Gandhinagar and Kalol will be twin cities and Dehgam, Kalol and Gandhinagar will become great centers for strengthening the economic condition of the Gujarat. gujarat.”

Prime Minister Modi took aim at the Congress and said, “Congress will come during the election and say Narendrabhai is like this… he is like that… but Congress has no idea what the future of Gujarat should look like.”

Prime Minister Modi concluded by saying, “As we work for a developed Gujarat, we must break all old records and get 100 percent votes to support lotus and support development.”

Prime Minister also said that villages in Gujarat remained neglected because previous Congress governments did not follow Mahatma Gandhi’s values.

Modi was speaking at a campaign rally for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates in Bavla village in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat. Mahatma Gandhi used to say that the soul of India lives in its villages. But congressional leaders never cared to follow such Gandhi values. They actually crushed that soul. Villages remained neglected and their true potential was never realized,” he said.

The divide between towns and cities only widened under Congressional administrations, which even “enjoy the conflict between the two,” the prime minister said.

Gujarat, which has 182 constituencies, will be held in two phases on December 1 and 5. The counting of votes will take place on December 8, which coincides with the result date of Himachal Pradesh.
