Mexican Velas Resorts has announced it is offering at least 100 free all-inclusive stays for healthcare workers. This is a show of appreciation for healthcare workers who have worked hard during the coronavirus pandemic. Velas Resorts, which has properties in Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, and Riviera Nayarit, is offering these stays as part of a social media contest where you can nominate a healthcare worker in your community.
We spoke with Juan Vela Ruiz, Vice President of Velas Resorts, of the Let’s be grateful campaign, the company’s plans to give back to healthcare workers and what contest winners can expect when they visit Velas Vallarta.
What inspired the station to do this?
After this difficult and unprecedented year, we wanted to create a campaign that would show our appreciation for the healthcare workers who have fought relentlessly against the coronavirus pandemic. With our new “Be Thankful” campaign, we want to thank all the health heroes by giving them a well-deserved all-inclusive vacation where they can rest, relax and rejuvenate. Our goal for the campaign is to provide at least 100 free all-inclusive stays to health heroes.
