WWE announced Thursday that Wale, a professional wrestling fan and Grammy-nominated rapper, will perform on the second night of WrestleMania 37.
He will perform Big E’s entry music “Feel the Power” live at the show, which will see the SmackDown star defend his Intercontinental title against Apollo Crews in a Nigerian drum fight.
The theme song debuted as the WWE star’s entry music last December. That same month, Big E dethroned Sami Zayn as Intercontinental Champion in a lumberjack match.
Wale has made appearances in WWE lineup before, most notably as an official on The New Day and The Usos’ rap battle in July 2017. WWE has already confirmed that country music artist Ashland Craft will play “America”. the Beautiful ”at WrestleMania 37 night two while Bebe Rexha sings the song on night one.
Additionally, rock star Ash Costello performs Rhea Ripley’s entry music “Brutality” as the former NXT champion fights for Asuka’s Raw Women’s Title on the second night.
WWE presents WrestleMania 37 on Saturday April 10 and Sunday April 11, 2021 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla., Which will air on Peacock.
