Shubman Gill and the Gujarat Titans seem to be playing pranks on everyone. Previously, GT tricked everyone with a tweet that read, “It was a journey to remember. Shubman Gill, we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours.”
Gill also responded to the tweet with an emoji in the heart and retweeted the post. Gill also shared a screenshot of the conversation on his Instagram story. This led fans to speculate that Gill would leave the franchise after just one season.
However, after some time, the franchise came out with yet another tweet stating that it’s not what everyone thinks it is.
“Twitterverse, Gill will always be a part of us. PS: It’s not what you think, but we love the theories. Keep it up,” GT wrote on Twitter.

Gujarat Titans retained Shubman Gill for Rs 8 Crore prior to IPL 2022. Gill was one of the top names in Kolkata Knight Riders but they were unable to keep him.
Although he was a little shaky at the beginning, Shubman got into form in the middle phase of the tournament, scoring 483 points in 16 games, including four 1950s. He also got his highest score of 96. He also dramatically improved his strike rate to 132.33.
