A Ukrainian unit stands guard in a trench near Krasnohorivka, in Ukraine’s Donetsk region. Oleksandr, one of the members, 26, explains that there is “electricity”, “heating”, but also “tea” and “hot meals”. “It’s enough for a normal life,” he says, showing us the place where he lives with his comrades. The latter fire on Russian positions about 500-600 meters from the trench, using various weapons, such as automatic pistols or grenade launchers.
