For the West Indies, no batsman could pass the 20-point knock. Shamarh Brooks scored the most 20 points for the team. Kyle Mayers (15), Jason Holder (0), Nicholas Pooran (18), Rovman Powell (14) and Shimron Hetmyer (14) all came out cheap. West Indies reached 122-8 in 20 overs and lost by 68 runs. In the 2nd T20I, West Indies defeated India by 5 wickets.
