She further accused the BJP of lying by saying that the West Bengal congressional-led government in Trinamool did not allow Durga puja and Laxmi puja celebrations in the state.

Addressing a public rally in Bhabanipur, the Trinamool supremo said, “The BJP is a ‘jumla’ party. They are lying by saying that we do not allow Durga puja and Laxmi puja in the state. ) Amit Shah Ji, we will not let you turn India into a Taliban. India will remain united … Gandhi Ji, Netaji, (Swami) Vivekananda, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Guru Nanak Ji, Gautam Budhha, Jains … stay together in the country. We will not let anyone divide India.

The patients of this hospital are looked after by the doctors of the PG hospital. It is a matter of pride for your region. “

The assembly seat in Bhabanipur was vacated by West Bengal Agriculture Minister Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay in May, leaving room for Ms. Banerjee to challenge from the seat.

On September 10, India’s Election Commission announced the schedule for side polls to be held in the state, according to which the by-election in Bhabanipur will take place on September 30. The counting of the votes will take place on October 3.
