Hyderabad:
A 30-year-old woman has died and six other workers were injured, two of them seriously, in an explosion at a fan manufacturing unit in the neighboring Sangareddy district on Sunday, police said.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. when a fan-cooled condenser was heating in an oven, resulting in the death of the woman at the scene and injuring six other people, who were working near the oven, a police official said. .
The injured were admitted to hospital where the condition of two people was deemed serious, the official said, adding that further investigation was underway.
