WWE NXT star comments on recovery from surgery | TBEN

Ridge Holland had his first major cut off due to an injury, as he suffered a dislocation and fracture of his left ankle, patellar dislocation and a ruptured patellar tendon last year.

This happened during an episode of NXT TV last October. He had to undergo surgery to repair some of the injuries such as the ruptured patellar tendon, which can take 6 to 12 months to heal. Before he was hurt, plans were for him to quarrel with Adam Cole.

The WWE NXT star interviewed TalkSport’s Alex McCarthy to discuss the injuries.

“On my left leg, I fractured and dislocated my ankle, then on my right leg, I dislocated the kneecap and ruptured my patellar tendons. Just buy one, get one free on injury! But it’s going well. The WWE medics are top notch and they’ve helped me recover.

It’s still early days, but the doctor said six to nine months, so I just take it day to day and see how the knee and ankle feels. If I look too far into the future, I will probably focus on what needs to be done today. So yes, we’ll see how it goes.
