WWE SmackDown 9/22/09 Draws Highest Total Viewership Since June for Clash at the Castle Outage


The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw ratings soar. According to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics, the show attracted an average of 2.367 million viewers on TBEN, compared to 2.077 million a week ago.

In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show achieved a score of 0.57, up from its score of 0.49 a week ago. This was the fallout edition of SmackDown for Clash at the Castle event.

This was the highest total viewership since June 17. It was the best key demo rating since July 22.

The same week last year drew 2.383 million viewers with an 18-49 demo score of 0.65. Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show compared to last week:
