Tommaso Ciampa will be sidelined for the rest of this year. Last month, Ciampa announced that he had undergone surgery on his hip labrum.
Pwinsider.com reported today, “If we ask around, we’re told he’s not expected back until next year.”
Ciampa was last seen in action at a WWE live event on September 17 when he faced Bobby Lashley.
After years of being a top star in NXT, including as NXT Champion, Ciampa was officially called up to the main roster shortly after WrestleMania 38. After under Vince McMahon, it looked like the former chairman had given up on him. However, he was given another boost under the leadership of Triple H.

He was tuned in to The Miz and helped him escape the wrath of Dexter Lumis on Monday Night Raw before disappearing from television.
