In the main event of WWE SummerSlam, undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns battled challenger Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match.
Reigns got a big pyro entrance and Lesnar drove to the ring on a front loader tractor wearing his cowboy hat and flannel shirt. Lesnar told the ring announcer to shut up so he could make his own introduction.
The match started with Lesnar diving from the tractor to Reigns in the ring. Lesnar continued the charge around ringside and into the crowd. Lesnar continued to dominate until a distraction from Paul Heyman allowed Reigns to recover in time so he could lead Lesnar through a ringside table. The table stain left a cut on Lesnar’s back.
Back in the ring, Reigns hit a couple of Superman punches and a javelin, but Lesnar stood up for the 10 count. Reigns went for another spear, but Lesnar sent him through the ropes. Lesnar put Reigns through a table on the floor and it looked like a nasty bump for Reigns. Lesnar backed onto the tractor and continued to attack Reigns with steel steps and a piece of one of the tables that broke earlier.

Reigns dumped Reigns into the front loader of the truck and then he used the truck to dump him into the ring. Lesnar followed with German suplexes and an F5. Lesnar tried to hit another F5, but Reigns countered in the guillotine choke, but Lesnar broke free and then locked Reigns in his own guillotine. It looked like Reigns passed out, but somehow he managed to get up before the ten count.
Lesnar got back into the tractor and used it to lift the ring and knock Reigns to the ground. The Usos ran to ringside, but Lesnar took them out. Heyman handed the oars to Lesnar and yelled at him to leave Reigns alone, but Lesnar didn’t hear and sent Heyman through the announcer’s table. Reigns then spied on Lesnar. They both beat the count and then Theory ran to the ring to cash in his briefcase.
Theory hit Reigns in the head with the briefcase, but Lesnar hit Theory with the F5. The Usos then took out Lesnar with super kicks. Lesnar got up, Reigns speared him and the umpire counted, but Lesnar got up again. Reigns used the briefcase on Lesnar on his body several times, but again, Lesnar got up for the ten count. Reigns then beat Lesnar with the WWE title, but Lesnar rose again. Reigns then hit Lesnar with the universal title, then buried Lesnar under pieces of the table and several other ringside items. Lesnar couldn’t stand that and so Reigns held out.
Corey Graves said after the game that Lesnar could have a broken leg and Michael Cole begged for someone to help Lesnar out of the furniture.
