Triple H confirmed during an interview with The Ringer that the WWE Survivor Series will feature two WarGames matches this year.
“We have a WarGames competition for men and a WarGames competition for women. The Survivor Series tradition has ebbed and flowed and changed somewhat over time, but this will be similar to that,” said Triple H. “This isn’t going to be Raw vs SmackDown. Still think of it as a traditional part of Survivor Series there because it’s big teams of people competing. We raised the bar a little bit with WarGames and let it evolve further.”
The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 26 at TD Garden in Boston.
Triple H brought WarGames back in 2017 and used the competition gimmick as an annual event theme for the NXT brand.

WWE’s main roster has never used the WarGames concept to date. WarGames was created by Dusty Rhodes in 1987 for the NWA and was later used in WCW.
In recent years, the WWE Survivor Series has been dominated by “brand supremacy” between Raw and SmackDown, with stars from both brands pitted against each other in elimination and champion-vs-champion matches.
