WWE Trademarks For Several Ring Names, Including Ben Carter | TBEN


WWE has registered new marks to be used for ring names.

The company did so on January 8. The following conditions have been filed with the United States Patent Office (USPTO):

Ben carter
Tony Gill
Tino Sabbatelli
Joshua Bruns

Sabbatelli was released by WWE last year due to budget cuts related to the COVID-19 pandemic, but was later brought back to work in NXT.

On the other hand, Carter is a prospect who made a name for himself working for AEW on a few episodes of Dark. It created a buzz and sparked interest in WWE as well as All Elite Wrestling. He ended up signing with WWE and was placed on the NXT UK brand where he just made his promotional debut last week.
