Although Bobby Lashley has worked full-time as a WWE wrestler for the past few years, he is not giving up on his fighting career.
Lashley revealed in a recent interview to Fightful Select that he was approached about a possible fight against Mike Tyson. Lashley noted that a representative of a “bare knuckle boxing company” had contacted him about whether or not he would be interested in the boxing match.
Lashley noted that a deal was in the works, but he said he’d love to do it, and it would be an honor to compete against him. Lashley said Madison Square Garden was a possible location.
Lashley also noted that he plans to fight again, but he had previously asked Vince McMahon about the possibility of fighting in the UFC, but McMahon had shot the field. It’s unlikely WWE would have let him fight Tyson as well.

Lashley’s last fight took place in October 2016, where he took a submission victory over Josh Appelt.
Tyson came out of retirement to play against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020.
Lashley is scheduled to defend the US title against Theory at SummerSlam this Saturday.
