Yamaha Motor India has launched an MT-15 motorcycle color customization program in India. This option will allow customers to choose their desired color combinations according to their preferences.
The motorcycle will be manufactured by Yamaha based on the order received from customers.
Yamaha Motor India has announced a new color customization option for its MT-15 range of motorcycles in India. Called “Customize Your Warrior,” the program is launched against a backdrop of positive response from customers of the new Ice Fluo-Vermillion color on the MT-15 motorcycle. As part of this customization program, interested customers can choose their favorite color from 11 different color combinations when purchasing the bike. It should be noted that the bikes will be manufactured by Yamaha based on the order received from customers.

The two-wheeler manufacturer will begin deliveries of the custom bikes from January 2021. However, the Neon Green color wheel model will be available for deliveries from March 2021 only. With this customization program, Yamaha’s naked streetfighter will be available in 14 stylish colors, of which 3 existing standard colors will be readily available at dealerships. For the remaining 11 new color combinations, the customer will need to place an order with the company through its authorized resellers.
The motorcycle is powered by a BS6 compliant 4-stroke SOHC 4-stroke single cylinder engine, 155cc, tuned to produce 18.3hp at 10,000rpm and develops maximum torque of 14.1Nm at 8,500rpm. min. The engine is mated to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. The MT-15 also continues to come with telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear. For braking, the bike receives a 282mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear, with single-channel ABS. The bike also comes with dual LED headlights, a one-piece seat, LED tail lights and 17-inch alloy rims.

The Yamaha MT-15 CYW motorcycle is priced at ₹ 1,43900 (old showroom, Delhi), which is around ₹ 4,000 more than the regular version of the bike. The company had previously raised the price of the 155cc naked streetfighter motorcycle by ₹ 1,000 for all variants.
